Does Lauter make my whole iPhone louder?
No. iOS doesn’t let apps change the volume of other apps or calls. Lauter makes individual files louder and saves them as new files.
Which files work?
Videos from your photo library and audio or video files from the Files app, for example MOV, MP4, M4A, MP3 and WAV. You can also open files via Share → “Open in Lauter”.
What does the free version include?
Three exports of clips up to 30 seconds. The one-time purchase removes both limits.
I already bought the app but it’s locked again.
Tap “Restore Purchases” in Settings and sign in with the Apple ID you used for the purchase.
Why isn’t the result as loud as I expected?
If a recording is already close to the maximum, the limiter holds it back so it doesn’t distort. The status text below the slider shows when this happens.
